Trentham Pre-School is a registered charity (1033570 – Charity Commission Website). This means that all money from fees and fundraising is put directly back in to the pre-school to buy new equipment and to provide further training for our practitioners, all to enhance the experience and learning for your children.
We have 24 places for children from the age of 2 to 5 years. We offer AM, PM and full day sessions between the hours of 8.15am and 4.30pm.
We occupy a small homely purpose-built building with a garden which has been redesigned to incorporate all areas of learning.
Out of our 5 members of staff 4 are qualified to at least level 3 in Early Years Childcare and Education. The manager has a BA hons degree in Education and the deputy and room supervisor have foundation degrees in Early Years. All staff are Paediatric First Aid Trained and have a level 1 in safeguarding.
Parents are invited to join our parent Trustee Committee, who are involved in aspects of how the preschool is run. This is a lovely way to get involved in your child’s Early Years Education, places are subject to availability
We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum, all activities are planned to help children make good progress towards the Early Learning Goals in all 7 areas.
The Pre-School believes strongly in Learning through play especially for our younger children, we ensure that activities are carefully planned to ensure that they are fun and stimulating.
